Both are options, priced separately. The exterior gutter faces get cleaned as part of a house wash. Gutter cleaning is its own service where we clear all the debris from inside the gutters and flush the downspouts so everything drains properly — that removes organic growth like mold, algae, and lichen, but not oxidation (the black "tiger stripe" lines). Removing those is a separate service called gutter brightening, which we also offer.

How often should gutters be cleaned in New England?

We recommend cleaning the inside of your gutters 2–4 times a year, depending on how many trees surround your property, to prevent clogs and keep water flowing away from your home.
